Christmas Cards — The Easy Way!

December 18, 2008 in Christmas, Holidays, Technology, Weblogs

GCtop Even if you are one of the organized ones who mailed Christmas Cards this year you can still send an extra little Holiday Greeting using easy to send e-cards. The beauty of e-cards is that it takes just a few minutes, they’re FREE and you can say Happy Holidays to anyone (even work associates or Facebook friends) as long as you have their email address. The cool thing is you can send multiples at one time too. Remember, the greatest gift is spreading kindness.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

August 25, 2008 in Crafts, Creativity, Friendship, Scrapbooking, Technology

Gjwhf Former staffer and master scrapbooker, Robin, just shared her latest project with us. In honor of her annual GJWHF (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun) weekend in San Francisco she made everyone their own custom Word Album with her well used Cricut. So not only did these lucky girls get to spend the weekend in San Fran – they were each the recipient of these darling albums that are all primed and ready to add their photos.  Don’t worry, Robin will take plenty of photos to fill them too. She also custom printed M&M’s that filled the little round suitcases. M&M colors were pink, dark pink and white and featured their mottos, “GJWHF 2008” and “Shop ‘til you drop!”

Robinsgirls_3 Robin, a big believer in the Cricut also let us know that Provo Craft is coming out with a new heavy duty blade and housing unit that will cut chipboard, magnet sheets, rubber sheets (to cut your own rubber stamps), and more.

Back in Business & Easier to Navigate

August 8, 2008 in Current Affairs, Technology

Product You may have noticed that for several weeks our shopping cart has been on vacation. Vacation is over and we’re back in business. Although many of the updates are “behind the scenes” - as a result, the cart is now more user-friendly. You’ll find larger images and the products are better organized for your shopping ease. For instance if you go to “Scrapbooking” – that will give you subcategories of Accessories, Albums, Paper and Stickers. Hopefully, this will make it easier if you’re looking for something specific. 1988So, please browse the aisles and I hope you find some great treasures. Good news – all our  2009 Calendars are now in stock.  If you’re one of the many who were looking for a 2008 Engagement Calendar, we listened to your requests and I’m pleased to announce that the 2009 Engagement Calendar is now available through our site. Take a look!

Good News!

September 11, 2007 in Technology

30th I have good news about our e-cards!

About a month ago I received an email from one of our quilters, Heidi. She let me know that she would like to be able to send our ecards as monthly reminders to her quilting group, The Quilting Sisters. “Just wondering if you would consider this kind of modification to your site? You have the perfect cards and I would love to use them but it is just too labor intensive to send out 12 separate emails...I’d rather be quilting!!”

This seemed like a great idea to me and I asked our Website Wizard, Carson, if he could do this for us. “Absolutely!” he responded. So, DONE! You can now choose the option to send the same card to up to 20 recipients at the same time.

Thanks for the great idea, Heidi!

Easier to Subscribe Now

February 9, 2007 in Technology

Flower_6 I consulted with my Webmaster, Carson McComas and asked if we could make it a little easier, more straight-forward to subscribe to the blog.  And being the Webmaster he is........VOILA!!  Even I know how to subscribe now.  (It's really me who needed the help!!)
Just in case you're as techno-challenged as I am - hopefully it will be easier for you too.
