Wrapped up in Wool

December 8, 2009

FeltTreeHomeComings Tabletop trees are the rage this year (because you can put them anywhere!) and I love this one that we made for the Home Comings book.

You can use wool scraps for the tree and snowflakes and decoration is just white-headed sewing pins and miscellaneous buttons so you may already have materials on hand. A Styrofoam tree and a small flowerpot are all it takes for the tree and base.

This tree is so easy that older kids can easily make it in an hour or two or it makes a great project to work on together. Have fun!
